Definition

The design, installation, maintenance and irrigation repairs are defined as follows:

  • Design: Distribution and calculations to apply defined amounts of water in defined planted areas by means of an underground and above grade piping system.
  • Installation: The installation of an underground and above grade of hydraulic component system in an area with the purpose of reflecting a defined irrigation plan design.
  • Maintenance and irrigation repairs: Supervising sites for irrigation problem detection, damages and malfunctions such as leaks, overspray and broken heads, check controllers, program and repair or replace electric valves, solenoids, etc. Diagnose repairs needed and collect all information for estimating repairs.
Scope of Work

For design and installation, the irrigation installation contract includes all labor (installation crew), equipments and tools and the specific irrigation parts to be purchased transported and installed according to specific techniques and methods as stated in the Irrigation Plans and construction documents and specified for quantity, type, size, required precipitation rates and areas to be irrigated.

For maintenance and irrigation repairs, the irrigation maintenance and repairs contract includes all labor (installation crew), equipments and tools and the specific irrigation parts to be purchased transported and installed according to approved techniques and methods as stated above. In some cases, unless stated otherwise in contract we will bill for time and materials only.
